WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF A RACINE GLADIATORS PLAYER/PARENT?

Respect for other players, coaches, families, volunteers, and property of
others. There will be no swearing, yelling or fighting amongst players. There
will be no swearing, yelling or fighting from coaches or parents. There will be
NO SMOKING on school property or on sidelines.
Includes: use of equipment, tournament jersey and socks, tournament fees,
tournament lodging, tournament food, and tournament souvenir.
Players MUST be at all practices. Practice dates and times have been set.
Players with an unexcused absence may be asked to leave the program.
Families provide the transportation for their player(s) to and from weekly
practices and to and from the tournament. A family needing tournament
transportation should speak with their respective coach as soon as possible.
Families provide lodging for themselves. The players will stay with their teams
in rooms included in their player fee.
Not mandatory but strongly encouraged. This is a great opportunity for the
player involved to earn all of their player fees so there is no out of pocket
expense for the player to participate. For every card the player sells $5.00 will
be deducted from their player fee. Any card sold after the player fee has been
covered, the player will earn $5.00 towards spirit wear. In order to participate in
this fundraiser, a post dated check for $200.00 will need to be turned in. This
also will be used as a fundraiser for the organization.
DOMINO'S FUNDRAISER CARD
Not mandatory but strongly encouraged. RGYFO needs every player to sell at
least 5 cards. The cards offer savings of $2.49 to $6.99 every time the card is
used. The cards sell for $10.00 each. Players will have the opportunity to earn
replica player jerseys by selling 15 or more cards. This fundraiser is to offset
the cost of attending 2 tournaments without raising the player fee.

expense for the player to participate. This also will be used as a fundraiser for
the organization.
Sell a minimum of 10 tickets to the Spaghetti Dinner. Donate items/basket for
the raffle. Mandatory for players to "work" at the Dinner. This is a way for the
players to thank those that are helping them attend the tournament(s).
These are NOT mandatory, but are encouraged as these
are ways for RGYFO to keep the costs to the players
down year after year.
DeRango's Pizza sale. This fundraiser replaces our pocket peeler sale.
All money raised from this sale is for the organization as a whole.
Spirit Wear sale. Mainly used as an opportunity for friends of RGYFO to
show their support. A very minimal amount of money is made.
Window Clings. Show your pride and team spirit with RGYFO window
clings. They are available for purchase at any time for $5.00.
Football Mania. Parent only fundraiser. This fundraiser is for parents to raise
money for their hotel rooms. For every card sold $10.00 will be deducted from
your hotel room. (the approx. cost, not incl. tax, for Louisville is $160.00 and
$200.00 for Cleveland). Any card sold after hotel rooms for both tournaments,
parents will earn $10.00 towards spirit wear. THIS FUNDRAISER RUNS FROM
AUGUST 9TH TO SEPTEMBER 2ND.
